What are the future dates for Oktoberfest?
Dates are determined after the football season schedule has been released. We try to release the dates by March or April of the current year.
Where is the festival?
The festival takes place at Auburn University’s Ag Heritage Park
Why visit AU OKtoberfest?
AU Oktoberfest is one of Alabama’s largest Oktoberfest festivals and showcases the craft beer industry both locally and nationally. It’s a great time!
How much are tickets?

Do you sell a Designated Driver ticket?
Yes! Designated driver tickets are free and can be found here.
Do you accept credit cards or checks?
Tickets to AUOktoberfest are sold via Eventbrite, which does accept credit card payments. At the event, various vendors (including food trucks) typically take cash and credit cards.

What do I get for the price of my ticket?

Can I bring my child?
The Ag Heritage Park is open to the public, but to enter the tasting areas you must be 21 or older.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, but all dogs must be on a leash inside the festival.
Will there be any food and non-alcoholic beverages available?
Yes, various food trucks will be offering food and non-alcoholic beverages for purchase. We will also have a designated driver tent setup.
Will there be any gluten-free beers available?
The list will be published as we get closer to the event and some gluten free beer will be available.
Should I drive or take public transportation?
We encourage everyone to carpool with a designated driver or utilize a car service, such as Lyft or Uber.

Who puts on the AU Oktoberfest?
AU Oktoberfest is put on by Ithaka Hospitality Partners
How can you run out of beer?
We expect more than 2,000 guests in attendance this year, and many breweries offer limited or one-time brews for this event, which can potentially run out.
What is your Smoking Policy?
Smoking, including vaping and the use of e-cigarettes, is prohibited inside the park grounds.
What is your Intoxicated Guest policy?
All guests are expected to drink responsibly. Guests who appear intoxicated entering the event may be denied entry into the festival. Guests who appear to be intoxicated during the event may be asked to leave the festival, without refund. Several Auburn Police officers will be located throughout the event should you need assistance.
What items are prohibited?
Outside food and beverages are prohibited. All items in accordance with Auburn University’s weapon policy are prohibited.
Where can I park?
Parking will be available in the “hay fields” across from the ALFA Pavilion as well as in the ALFA Pavilion Parking. Street signs will be posted directing you to available lots.
